I found this video very relatable and timely. Unfortunately, appearance still plays a large role of how black women are perceived in professional and social settings.
Within recent years, natural hair has become increasingly acceptable, but is still frowned upon in many settings.
We should all feel empowered to wear our hair the way it grows from our scalps without fearing ridicule or marginalization.
